WHO IS DR. HANNAH
Hi, I’m Dr. Hannah. It isn’t my professional name. It’s what some of my patients call me. I’m one of a dying breed of independent solo private practitioners remaining in America. I am a cancer surgeon. Trained in Gynecologic Oncology at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, I have a strong background in surgical oncology, genetics and molecular biology. I am also a cook – just a home cook – but I am as passionate about food as I am about helping women fight cancer.

WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT DR. HANNAH?

I practice in farm country. Years ago, I resisted the trend consolidating healthcare into a giant machine. I walked away from the medical production line and began my own practice of Gynecologic Oncology in rural Eastern Long Island. Commonly though of as “the Hamptons,” the area surrounding the Hamptons is also largely agricultural.
